The Moldetect Mold Test Kit is a product that anyone would be comfortable using. Simply apply the sticky test tape to the surface you want to test, place it on the unbreakable slide attached to the sample card, and mail it to the lab. Get results in days not weeks.
Features:
- Test tapes to sample three locations plus one extra tape in the event of an error. Instruction sheet on "Where to look for mold/Where to sample"

Outer kit envelope and self-addressed return envelope. After samples are returned to laboratory for analysis [AIHA, EMPAT or EMLAP participating] the client will receive the following:
- Laboratory report explaining what results suggest 16 page information book with list of mold types and health effects, tips on how to clean up and prevent mold, FAQ's, and where to find additional resources.
- Lab report can be faxed or emailed in addition to receiving it by mail
Applications:
- To confirm or rule out that mold on a surface (Is this mold or not?) To identify the mold types present (Is Stachybotrys or other potentially toxic molds present?)
- To determine the amount and relative amounts of mold present in a sample on scale of 0-5+ (e.g., when sampling dust on return air register, supply register, or furnace filter)
